iPad Basics – On Demand

This three-session class covers the basics of how to use Apple’s popular iPad. This class starts with the basics of how to log on using multiple methods from passcode to touch id to face recognition technology. Apple’s iCloud service will be discussed as the benefits of this service help secure your data as well as allow your data to be used across multiple Apple devices. The App Store will be covered as a way to find additional applications that may meet your varied interest and needs.

Session 1 – Identifying the operating system, available updates, protecting your device, connecting to available Wi-Fi networks and understanding the iCloud.

Session 2 – Learn how to navigate your device, organize and manage our apps, and learn how to get the most out of the keyboard.

Session 3 – Explore the settings including privacy settings, changing our wallpaper, customizing our device for our best experience and syncing to the iCloud.

This class is a series of on-demand videos that you can learn from at your own pace. We recommend starting with the overview of the class, and proceeding through each of the lessons. You need to have speakers on the device that you are using, however, this class also has closed captioning.
