Whether you are an organization that wishes to help people with obtaining digital skills and digital opportunities or you are here to improve your own digital skills, NDEC has the online classes and training programs that will meet your needs.

Empowering Everyone Through Digital Opportunity

The National Digital Equity Center provides individual digital skills classes, but also training programs designed to assist organizations across the country create and implement digital opportunity ecosystems in their communities,

NDEC offers 36 digital skills classes that are held in live interactive online Zoom sessions. Once you’ve enrolled in one of our classes, you have access to the Zoom link for each time your class is offered. You can participate in the live class sessions as many times as you need to feel that you’ve mastered that digital skill.

Our classes fall under four digital skills curriculum categories:

  • Internet Safety
  • Learning Devices
  • Personal Digital Skills
  • Work-related Digital Skills

If you are a Maine-based nonprofit committed to closing the digital divide in your community, NDEC is accepting enrollments for the Maine Digital Opportunity Partner Program which opens in January of 2026. Funded by the Maine Connectivity Authority, this program is designed to assist Maine libraries, adult education programs, and community organizations with building a digital opportunity ecosystem in their communities.
