Whether you are an organization that wishes to help people with obtaining digital skills and digital opportunities or you are here to improve your own digital skills, NDEC has the online classes and training programs that will meet your needs.

Empowering Everyone Through Digital Opportunity

The National Digital Equity Center provides individual digital skills classes, but also training programs designed to assist organizations across the country create and implement digital opportunity ecosystems in their communities,

NDEC offers 34 digital skills classes that are primarily on-demand video self-paced classes. Once you have enrolled in a class, you can learn at your own pace, reviewing lessons as many times as you like. Four intermediate level classes are in a online live tutorial format, designed to provide more advanced students the opportunity to ask specific questions in a one-hour individualized class.

If you are a nonprofit committed to closing the digital divide in your community, NDEC can assist you with providing up-to-date comprehensive digital skills training.

Digital Opportunity Partner Programs are individualized train-the-trainer programs which include class and instructor materials to provide you with what you need to teach our classes.

Digital Opportunity Portals allow an organization to purchase bulk access to any of our on-demand classes on an annual subscription basis through our Digital Opportunity Portals. Your portal will be customized for the classes and number of students that meet the needs of your digital skills program.

Throughout 2026, NDEC has been piloting the development of an onboarding agent for those individuals who need assistance creating a safe account on our site and selecting the classes that will best meet their digital skills learning goals. This safe and confidential AI agent assesses a student’s learning needs and skill levels to guide them to the most appropriate classes to increase their digital skills.
